Read MoreEducation Trip for Grades 4-10 2019
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Greetings of Love and Peace of St. Francis!
Educational Trips play an important role in the education of our children. They are extensions of our student’s classroom learning providing them with a stimulating and fresh learning environment outside the classrooms. It is also a wonderful opportunity for the children to bond with their classmates, teachers, and parents.
This year’s educational trip for the Grades 4 to 10 will include the following educational and fun activities:
1. Presidential Cars Museum
The National Historical Commission of the Philippines, in collaboration with the Quezon City government–the Presidential Car Museum will take you back in time to learn more about the country’s former presidents, all based on the vehicles they used. The architecture of the museum itself was inspired by the Philippine flag, shaped like an equilateral triangle. As for the interior, you’ll notice eight dividers between cars, which signify the eight rays of the sun as seen in the flag.
2. Museo ni Manuel Quezon
The relatively newly-renovated Museo ni Manuel Quezon boasts of a larger area and more galleries than the one I visited in 2012. It has a vast collection of memorabilia connected to President Quezon, his years as the Commonwealth president and beyond. There is an entire gallery dedicated to President Quezon’s wife, Doña Aurora, and another gallery for Philippines after World War II.
3. Quest Adventure Camp
The Quest Adventure Camp located in Antipolo, City offers a wide range of activities ro anyone and everyone. There will be team building activities for students, faculty and parents. There are other fun and exciting activities like rope courses, zipline, wall climbing, rapelling and Foosball (Human Football)
