Siglakas Opening and Cheering Competition SY 2013-2014
September 28, 2013 - The Siglakas Family Sports Day officially began with the ceremonial torch lighting and the celebratory basketball tip off representing the start of the games. The cheering competition followed the opening ceremonies as the Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green team showed everyone very high energy and powerful cheering performances. SIGLAKAS is a word that is derived from “Sigla” and “Lakas” which aims to develop sportsmanship, teamwork, independence, to strengthen social interaction and develop emotional intelligence.
Students are be grouped into four teams: Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green Teams. This is a day for strengthening bonds between the parents, faculty, and students so even the parents are encouraged to join the games with their children and be part of the games.
