Here is a short video that offers a glimpse of our recent Siglakas Family Sports Day Celebration!
Siglakas Family Sports Day officially began with a colourful parade, a ceremonial torch lighting, and a basketball tip off representing the start of the event.
Students are grouped into four teams: Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green Teams. Each team will have a friendly competition for points by winning points in the sports and family parlour games and through their group cheering performances.
The term SIGLAKAS is derived from two Filipino words : “Sigla” (vigour and health) and “Lakas” (strength).
The purpose of this celebration is to give students, teachers, and parents an opportunity for bonding each other and to teach the important values of sportsmanship, teamwork, independence, and cooperation.
Videography and editing by SFAMSC alumnus and LaSalle Communications Arts student Isaiah Geremillo.
