Wounded Soldiers Outreach 2018
Last December 10, 2018, student volunteers of St. Francis of Assisi Montessori School of Cainta led by School President Mr. Adryan R. Villanueva with the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong led by President Luis Alfonso G. Dela Cruz with the Army Generals & Flag Officers Ladies Foundation Inc ( or known as the AGFO Ladies) led by their President Rita Brawner visited the Veteran’s Memorial Medical Center and the APF Medical Center to give Christmas cheer to our sick, injured, and wounded filipino solders.
The volunteers went around the different wards giving our confined military personnel gifts such as vitamins, chocolates, biscuits, rice and other donations handed with a smile and a warm greeting. The SFAMSC students sang Christmas and inspirational songs that lifted up the spirits of not only the patients but also their family and love ones who are by their side.
At the end of the day the SFAMSC students with the help of Rotary Club of Mandaluyong and the AGFO Ladies not only brought the Yuletide spirit to our brave and loyal soldiers who became injured and sick during the line of duty but the students also developed a deeper appreciation and gratitude of all their sacrifices they have made for the sake of the Filipino people.
With that said we wish to thanks all our beloved parents, guardians, students, and members of the SFAMSC community who have generously donated to our injured and sick heroes in the military. You have brought happiness in their life this Christmas!
